Ajith Kumar is one the leading actors in the Tamil film industry, His recent film that was released in theatres was Thunivu. On 24th March, Today, PS Mani alias P Subramanian, the father of the actor Ajith Kumar, passed away at the age of 85. He suffered various ailments over the last four years due to a stroke and died in his sleep, said an official statement for Ajith Kumar and his brothers. Many politicians, actors, actresses and important people shared their condolences to Ajith Kumar and his family.
Versatile actor and award-winning filmmakers Kamal Haasan expressed his condolences saying “I was saddened to know that brother Ajith Kumar's Father Mr. Subramaniam has lost his life. My deepest condolences and support for Ajith Kumar in the tragic loss of his father and to his family.”
Leading and well-known actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram has also paid tribute on the death of the father to Ajith Kumar saying “My heartfelt condolences to Ajith, his mother and family. The loss of one’s dad .. especially someone as caring and sweet as Subramaniam uncle can never be compensated. May his soul rest in peace. Stay strong Ajith.”
Silambarasan TR, whose upcoming film Pathu Thala is set to release on March 30, also expressed his condolences. He said “My sincere condolences to Ajith sir & his family on the demise of his father. MR P.S.Mani May god, give you and your family strength through this difficult time & may his soul rest in peace."
Director and Actor SJ Suryah who worked with Ajith Kumar for the film Vaali said on Twitter that remembered P.S. Mani from the days of story narration. “RIP iyya…I still remember the days of Vaali story narration, iyaa used to sit with Ajith sir and enjoy my narration... Always love you iyyaa. Deepest condolences to Amma, Ajith Sir, Shalini mam & to the family", he tweeted.
