Popular Tamil and Telugu actress, ‘Kayal’ Anandhi entered wedlock last night (January 7) at Hyderabad. Yes! Anandhi got married to Socrates and it is said to be a love marriage. According to reports, Socrates is an associate to director Naveen of Moodar Koodam fame, and the duo met during the shooting of the film, Alaudhinin Arputha Camera. Kayal Anandhi plays one of the leads in the said film which is expected to release in theatres, this year. Socrates is also said to be the co-director of Naveen's latest directorial, Agni Siragugal, that stars Arun Vijay, Vijay Antony, and Akshara Haasan in the lead roles. The Tamil audience has been pleasantly taken aback by this development as there were no news or rumours about the marriage.

Wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for Anandhi and Socrates and we at Galatta Media also extend our warm wishes to the newly married couple. We hope that this new phase of life is exciting and memorable for them. Director Naveen, producer T Siva (Amma Creations), JSK Sathish Kumar graced the wedding event and congratulated the couple. After making an impressive debut in Prabu Solomon's directorial, Kayal, Anandhi later garnered attention among the masses after acting in movies like Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Visaranai, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku, Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, Pariyerum Perumal, Irandam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundnu, etc. She has several interesting projects in the lineup and all the films are in different stages of production. As already said, Alaudhinin Arputha Camera is waiting for a suitable release window. Anandhi plays one of the female leads in Udhayanidhi Stalin's Angel, directed by KS Adhiyaman.

She will also be seen as the female lead in director Vikram Sugumaran's (Madha Yaanai Koottam fame) Raavana Kottam starring Shanthnu Bhagyaraj. In Telugu, Anandhi's next release will be the zombie film, Zombie Reddy, directed by Prasanth Varma. Starring Sajja Teja in the lead role, the trailer of Zombie Reddy was released recently and it opened to good reviews from the fans. The film is scheduled to release in theatres very soon.
