Vemal is a well-known actor in the Tamil film Industry who has acted as the lead in many films. He grew from doing small supporting roles in films like Ghilli, Kireedam, and Kuruvi and has grown to be a popular actor and has starred in Pasanga, Kalavani, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Desingu Raja, Manjapai, and so on, which became a hit. The recent web-series that he acted in was Vilangu, which became a huge hit last year and marked the comeback of the actor. He has played the role of a sub-inspector in a rural police station near Trichy and revolves around a serial killer. The series also had Ineya, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth and Ravi in key roles.
The upcoming film of the actor titled Dheiva Machan is set to be released in theatres on April 21. The cast of the film, actor Vemal and Anitha Sampath gave an exclusive interview to Galatta Media. When asked about his experience with Vijay Sethupathi during the time they were in Koothu Pattarai (theatre workshop) and their friendship. The actor Vemal said “he has spoken about many things, he will give motivation when we feel disheartened, He will give heartfelt praises to those who do well, Whoever it is. It takes a big heart to praise people, not many will do that. That character, I have seen even in Vijay Sethupathi from the Koothu Pattarai times. If he likes anything, he will appreciate it well and will keep encouraging us. Not just me but, everyone who was in the theatre workshop."
Vemal did a special cameo in the film DSP which had Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. The film, directed by Ponram, was released last year. Vijay Sethupathi is a leading actor in the Tamil film industry, he is known for acing any roles he takes up. The actor was recently seen in the role of Vaathiyar in the hit film Viduthalai directed by Vetri Maaran.
