Dhanush's Jagame Thandhiram will be releasing on June 18 on Netflix and we are just 9 days away from witnessing the action drama. Jagame Thandhiram has got huge expectations among the fans and film buffs and it will surely prove to be a great source of entertainment during the lockdown. Jagame Thandhiram is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sashikanth under the banner of Y Not Studios. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music for the film which features Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead. Game of Thrones fame actor James Cosmo will be seen as the key antagonist, while the film's star cast also includes the likes of Joju George, Kalaiyarasan, Sharath Ravi, Deepak Paramesh, Sanchana Natarajan, and others.
Ahead of the movie's release, actor Joju George has shared his experience working in Jagame Thandhiram, through an official statement. Talking about his experience working with Karthik Subbaraj, Joju George said, "I have been a huge Karthik Subbaraj fan. After seeing Pizza I was trying to meet Karthik Subbaraj, but I didn't get a chance. I came to the Malayalam industry and was doing characters here. Finally I got a chance to meet him through Vivek Harshan and Dimal Dennis, who is the editor of Jagame Thandiram. Karthik asked me to audition since it was a huge character. He narrated a scene to me and asked me to act. I acted it out and said the dialogues in broken Tamil. He simply smiled at me, and I was so happy".
Similarly, Joju was also elated about sharing screen space with actor James Cosmo. Talking about it, he said, "I knew my opponent (in the film) would be James Cosmo Sir who is a big Hollywood actor. He is the first Hollywood actor I have seen in person - I live for the excitement that life gives, to act with James Cosmo was a huge opportunity for me". Joju George's character in Jagame Thandhiram is called Sivadoss, while James Cosmo's character is called Peter.
