Actor Arjun Sarja, known among Tamil cinema fans as 'Action King', has tested positive for Covid-19. The news was shared by the popular South Indian actor, who took to social media on Monday to inform fans that he has taken all necessary steps to isolate himself, while requesting all those who had come in close contact with him to get themselves tested for Covid-19. Announcing the news on his Instagram Story, Arjun wrote:
"HI EVERYONE,
I HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19
I HAVE TAKEN ALL THE NECESSARY PROTOCOLS AND ISOLATED MYSELF I REQUEST EVERYONE WHO HAS COME IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH ME TO GET THEMSELVES TESTED AND TAKE CARE.
I'M DOING WELL. PLEASE STAY SAFE EVERYONE AND DON'T FORGET ABOUT YOUR MASKS JUST YET

Arjun, who started his acting career in Kannada, eventually made a transition to Tamil cinema in the mid-1980s and has since headlined several box office blockbusters. He had made heads turn in films like Shankar Guru, Gentleman, Jai Hind, Karnaa, Kurudhipunal alongside 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan, Thaayin Manikodi, Suyamvaram, Mudhalvan, Rhythm, Ezhumalai, Giri, Vathiyar, Marudhamalai, Bommalattam, Mankatha with Ajith Kumar, director Mani Ratnam's Kadal, Nibunan, Vishal's Irumbu Thirai, Sivakarthikeyan's Hero, including Mohanlal's Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham in Malayalam most recently.
