Bollywood superstar Abhishek Bachchan showered praises on his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her power-packed act in her latest film, Ponniyin Selvan: 2, directed by Mani Ratnam and featuring music by A. R. Rahman. The leading actress played dual roles - Nandini and Mandakini - in the epic historical action adventure film alongside 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha among others, and has been reaping laurels for her performance from fans and critics. Abhishek too took to Twitter to compliment Aishwarya and the film's other cast members writing, "#PS2 is simply FANTASTIC!!! At a loss for words right now. So overwhelmed. Well done to the entire team #ManiRatnam @chiyaan @trishtrashers @actor_jayamravi @Karthi_Offl and the rest of the cast and crew. And so, so proud of the Mrs. Her best by far."
Responding to Abhishek's tweet, a Twitter user asked the actor to allow Aishwarya Rai to sign more films, while telling him to take care of their daughter Aaradhya. He wrote, "As you should! Now let her sign more movies and you take care of Aaradhya". Abhishek was quick to reply back and pointed out that his wife Aishwarya Rai doesn't need his approval to do anything and added that she has the free will to do what she likes. He tweeted, "Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn’t need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves." Abhishek, who recently made a cameo appearance in Ajay Devgn's Bholaa (Kaithi Hindi remake), has received a double thumbs up for his strong reply, which showed how much he holds Aishwarya Rai in high regard.
