Earlier today, the official announcement on the new release plans of Aamir Khan's highly anticipated next, Laal Singh Chaddha was made and the update has created a huge buzz on social media. Laal Singh Chaddha has been announced to hit the screens on April 14, 2022, and it will have a wide release across the country. It has been 3 years since the fans saw Aamir Khan in action - with his last film being Thugs of Hindostan which released in November 2018 and so, the fans and film buffs are eagerly looking forward to Laal Singh Chaddha. The film was initially supposed to release during the Christmas weekend of 2020, but due to the Covid 19 situation, the plans were scrapped and now the film will hit the screens on April 14, 2022.
Interestingly, Yash's much-awaited mega biggie, KGF: Chapter 2 is also scheduled to release on the same day and it is going to be a big exciting clash indeed. As already known, KGF 2 has humongous expectations among the fans all over the country and an epic box office clash is on cards now. Both KGF 2 and Laal Singh Chaddha are pan Indian films and let us see how both the films fare at the box office. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions in association with Viacom 18 Studios, the film has music composed by Pritam and cinematography handled by Setu (Satyajit Pande).
Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic, Forrest Gump which was based on the novel of the same name. Aamir Khan plays the titular character in this film, while Kareena Kapoor would be seen playing the female lead. Naga Chaitanya will be seen in a crucial role in this film which is directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame.
