Ace filmmaker R Balki will be teaming up with Dulquer Salmaan for his next directorial venture and the project was officially announced, last night (May 25). Legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram shared the good news on his official Twitter page and the announcement has excited the fans. PC Sreeram has been a regular member of Balki's team and the duo's association will continue for the new Dulquer Salmaan starrer as well. This new film is expected to be a Hindi project. PC Sreeram has also confirmed that this new film will be a psychological thriller and it definitely sounds to be an exciting project.

PC Sreeram tweeted, "My next project with Balki will have Dulquer Salman. Its a psychological thriller . Eagerly waiting to start work. #RBalki @dulQuer". The tweet has gone viral among the fans and everyone is excited about this fresh combination. Balki's previous directorial film was PadMan which received positive reviews from the critics and general audience. On the other side, Dulquer Salmaan recently wrapped up the shooting of his next film, Salute, which is directed by Rosshan Andrrews of 36 Vayadhinile and Mumbai Police fame.

Salute will feature Dulquer Salmaan in the role of a police officer and the film's teaser opened to a very good response from the fans. Salute will have music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Salute will feature Diana Penty as the female lead, while Manoj K Jayan, Saniya Iyappan, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy would be seen in supporting roles. Dulquer is also awaiting the release of his highly anticipated next, Kurup, which is a biographical crime drama. Kurup is based on the life story of Sukumara Kurup, one of the most wanted fugitives and the film has got high expectations among film buffs.

Dulquer has also completed his next Tamil film, Hey Sinamika, which is directed by popular dance choreographer, Brindha Master. Hey Sinamika will feature Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari as the female leads, with music scored by Govind Vasantha.
