The Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam set in EVP Film City, Chembarambakkam, has been sealed for violating the Government's Guidelines. On Wednesday (May 19), a team of officials, including Preethi Parkavi (Thiruvallur Revenue Divisional Officer) and others inspected the sets of Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam and the place was instantly sealed. The shoot of Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam took place in the same set where Bigg Boss 4 Tamil was shot a few months before. With a few alterations inside the Bigg Boss house, the set was used for the third season of Bigg Boss Malayalam. Owing to the spike in the Covid-19 cases in the State, the Tamil Nadu Government ordered that no film or television shoot should happen and the same was also confirmed by FEFSI Union President, RK Selvamani.

However, it looks like the shoot of Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam proceeded despite the restrictions. On the grounds of violating the Covid 19 Government Guidelines, the set in EVP Film City was sealed, last night. The remaining contestants and crew members were provided with the PPE kits and the officials asked them to immediately vacate the sets. The makers of the show were also fined an amount of Rs. 1 Lakh for the same. According to reports, the production house has been requested to provide an e-pass to all the contestants and crew members immediately, so that they could return to their homes in Kerala.

It is also said that eight members from the technical crew of Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam tested positive for Covid 19. With the set now been sealed, it is confirmed that Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam will be stopped and unfortunately, this is happening for the second consecutive time. The second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam was stopped midway in 2020 due to the Nationwide lockdown and one year later, a similar kind of incident has happened for the third season, as well.

Anoop, Dimpal, Firoz, Manikuttan, Noby, Ramzan, Rithu, Sai, were the 8 contestants who were alive in the competition when the ban was imposed. This news must come as a big disappointment for the Malayalam fans of Bigg Boss. Actor Mohanlal hosted the third season of Bigg Boss Malayalam.
