Popular Kannada director Chethan Kumar got married to his girlfriend, Manasa, on Sunday, June 13. The wedding took place in Mysore in the presence of the couple's families and close friends. The wedding happened as per the Hindu customs and Chethan Kumar was seen wearing a silk shirt and dhoti. It is said that Chethan Kumar and Manasa were in a relationship for the past few years. Due to the current lockdown restrictions, the wedding happened as a lowkey event with limited guests, but even then, quite a few star heroes from the Kannada film industry graced the occasion. Kannada Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar was one of the guests who graced the occasion and blessed the couple on their wedding.

Pogaru fame Dhruva Sarja, Ugramm fame Srimurali were some of the other prominent actors who were seen at the marriage event. The pictures from the wedding event are now doing good rounds on social media and wishes have been pouring in from all quarters for Chethan Kumar and Manasa.

For the uninformed, Chethan Kumar is one of the notable directors in Kannada cinema who has worked with several top heroes from the industry. He made his debut with the 2014 film, Bahaddur which featured Dhruva Sarja and Radhika Pandit in the lead roles. Later, Chethan directed Bharjari, which also featured Dhruva Sarja in the lead role. The film marked the duo's second collaboration together and it featured Rachita Ram and Haripriya as the female leads.

Currently, Chethan Kumar is working on his next film, James which will have Puneeth Rajkumar and Priya Anand in the lead roles. The film has got good expectations among the film buffs and Chethan will be looking forward to delivering a quality film. Produced by Kishore Productions, James has music composed by Charan Raj. The film features an interesting star cast that includes the likes of Anu Prabhakar, Srikanth, Mukesh Rishi, Aditya Menon, and others.
