Street Dancer 3D, the Hindi language dance drama film starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and Prabhu Deva was also dubbed in Tamil under the same title. Street Dancer 3D had a big release here as well but the movie failed to make an impact. The film directed by Remo D'Souza is bankrolled jointly by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D'Souza under the production banners T-Series and Remo D'Souza Entertainment banners.

Following the release, the makers have now released the full video of the song Muqabla. This song is one of the hit numbers from the album of Street Dancer 3D composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The Tamil version of Muqabla is sung by Yash Narvekar and Parampara Thakur and the lines for the song are penned by Veeramani Kannan. The team has tried to recreate the magic with Prabhu Deva that Muqable did in the '90s. The original song was composed by none other than AR Rahman for the film Kadhalan.
