Actress Kalki Koechlin is known for her strong and impactful performances in films like Dev: D, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Margarita With a Straw, A Death in the Gunj, Gully Boy, etc. She recently made her Tamil debut with Thala Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai in which she appeared for a song. The talented actress has now given birth to a baby girl and wishes have been pouring in for her since yesterday (February 9). Kalki took to her Instagram space to share this happy news.

The newborn entered the earth on February 7 and she has been named Sappho. Kalki shared quite a long emotional note on Instagram and it has earned the love and support of her followers and well-wishers. Through this post, Kalki shared her experience of being pregnant for the past 9 months and added that the process of giving birth to a baby takes physical and psychological toll.

Kalki shared the picture of the footprint of the newborn and the image has been doing the rounds on social media. Kalki has been in a relationship with Guy Hershberg, a classic pianist.
