Sushant Singh Rajput's last film, Dil Bechara had a direct OTT release on Disney + Hotstar platform on July 24 and it opened to an overwhelming response. The fans were absolutely emotional and moved seeing the film, especially after Sushant's demise. The film got a record breaking viewership and became the most watched Indian film on an OTT platform. Dil Bechara which was the official remake of the acclaimed Hollywood film, The Fault In Our Stars, was directed by debutant Mukesh Chhabra. Produced by Fox Star Studios, Dil Bechara featured Sahil Vaid, Swastika Mukherjee and Saswata Chatterjee in supporting roles. Saif Ali Khan was seen in an interesting cameo role. The film had cinematography by Setu and editing by Aarif Sheikh.

Dil Bechara had music scored by AR Rahman who produced a magically beautiful album. His soulful and intense background music elevated the overall emotions of the film to a different level and his music was one of the major USPs of the film. The album of Dil Bechara had 9 tracks. What came as a surprise for the fans was the bonus single track that everyone got to hear directly in the film. The song was called ‘Never Say Goodbye’ and it was placed in the end credits. The song was supported by a few nostalgic throwback videos of Sushant Singh Rajput and it made the fans quiet emotional. Ever since the release of the film, the fans were eagerly waiting for the full song to release officially.

Accepting all the requests and love of the fans, AR Rahman has now officially released the full version of the song on YouTube and other audio streaming platforms. ‘Never Say Goodbye’ is crooned by Rahman’s son AR Ameen who shows great promise as a singer. The song has opened to a very positive reception from the music lovers. Notably, a special video featuring the film’s leading lady, Sanjana Sanghi, has been shot for the visuals of this song and it is neatly blended with other visuals. Rahman has produced the visuals of this song under YM Movies and has created the visuals with his team. We also get to see a few shots from the film featuring Sushant.
