Bunty Aur Babli is a successful Hindi comedy film which released in the year 2005. This film directed by Shaad Ali was written and produced by Aditya Chopra. Bunty Aur Babli was a smash hit at the box office collecting over 65 crores. It was in fact the second highest grossing film of 2005. The film featured Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles. It was the first film where father-son duo Amitabh-Abhishek shared the screen space. One of the major reasons for the success of Bunty Aur Babli was the musical score and songs composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. After 15 years, a sequel to this hit film is currently being made.

In Bunty Aur Babli 2.0, actor Saif Ali Khan will play the older Bunty, portrayed by Abhishek Bachchan in the original movie. Apparently, things didn’t work out with Abhishek Bachchan, so the makers did not have a choice but to go in with Saif Ali Khan for the sequel. This comedy film which is produced by Aditya Chopra will be directed by debutante Varun V Sharma. Apart from Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji, BAB 2 also features Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutante Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles.
