After Life is a British black comedy-drama web television series starring Ricky Gervais as the lead character along with names like Tom Basden, Tony Way, Diane Morgan, Mandeep Dhillon, Ashley Jensen, David Bradley, Kerry Godliman, Penelope Wilton, David Earl, Joe Wilkinson, Jo Hartley and Roisin Conaty other important characters. The series is created, produced and directed by Ricky Gervais himself and the music for the series is composed by Andy Burrows.

The first season of After Life premiered on March 8th, 2019, on Netflix and the series was a big hit. Following the success, Netflix announced that the second season had been ordered, which is set to be released on April 24th, 2020.
