India’s priceless gem AR Rahman marks his debut as a story writer with an ambitious musical film 99 Songs that’s been in the making for over 5 years. He is careful and wants no stones unturned with this pet project. 99 Songs is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy. Apart from being a writer, AR Rahman has also bankrolled the film in association with Jio Studios which stars new faces Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. AR Rahman has composed the original score and songs and it is going to be a musical treat for his fans. The film is a sensual story about art and self-discovery of a struggling singer who wants to be a successful music composer.

99 Songs is a Hindi film which will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Telugu. AR Rahman who has been working on the soundtrack for 4–5 years had released the first track titled The Oracle a few days back. The track was so pure and special, now the makers have unveiled a 3-minute long trailer which is made with so much of conviction and passion.
