Director Gautham Menon has earlier mentioned that he is planning for a sequel to Yennai Arindhaal even before the release of Yennai Arindhaal.

He is now resuming shoot with STR for a movie which he started before Yennai Arindhaal. Looks like Gautham has already started work on Yennai Arindhaal part two and has reportedly narrated the story to Ajith as well.

Ajith has already worked on a sequel in his earlier movie Billa. Gautham says that this sequel will talk about the life of Sathyadev as a father to 14 to 15 year old daughter and will not have anything to do with cop's life.

However, Ajith is yet to nod for the sequel. Apart from Billa, Singham also had a sequel and now Velai Illatha Pattadhari is having a sequel too.

So, will Ajith take up one more sequel? If not, who will be Gautham's choice for the sequel? Let us wait for more information from the director himself.
