As reported earlier, Bala's upcoming venture Thara Thappattai has completed its final shooting schedule recently. The film, starring Sasikumar and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in the lead, revolves around the lives of folk artistes. The film has already created high level of expectations ever since the it was announced. Recently there has been rumours floating in the air that Lyca Productions has acquired the distribution rights of the film. However, the makers have now cleared the air officially. They have formally announced that Ayngaran International has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of the film. The post-production works of the film is currently on full swing and is expected to release shortly.
