The audio of Tharai Thappattai, which marks the 1000th film of llayaraja will be released on 25th December. Earlier, a grand event was planned by the makers to honour Ilayaraja but it got cancelled. The movie is slated for a Pongal release. Directed by Bala, Tharai Thappattai has Sasikumar and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in lead roles.
